Over the last twenty years, I’ve found that my financial clients demand two things;

  • That the advisor listen to their core needs, and
  • That the advisor be transparent when discussing all issues

It’s not difficult to do either. As a result of my previous career in the wine and spirits industry, I know a quality wine requires quality ingredients and that it gets better with time. Clarifying the core needs of my clients and matching them with a custom-fit strategies is a recipe for success. Transparency is the only way to build one’s reputation.

Client Needs Drive The Relationship

That’s why the first item on my agenda in working with clients is to understand their core needs. Core needs drive any financial strategy. It’s a simple notion that I never overlook because once a client knows his or her financial advisor understands those core needs, designing a financial strategy is very straightforward work.

Early To Rise

I like taking control of my day early.

You’ll find me checking financial markets at 6 am and taking client calls at 7 am.

My clients have found that working through a sound financial decision-making process together is satisfying for both client and advisor. It sets our understanding of their goals, their way.
